Workshops Designed for You
We offer in-person and virtual workshops on several topics related to building connection and enhancing collaboration. The following offerings can be adapted for your organization’s needs. Each day is divided between learning through instruction, activities, and discussion. We provide learning opportunities over time so that participants have time to reflect, digest, and bring specific questions to our meetings. Virtual formats are available.

This is an introductory virtual workshop for people and organizations interested in the relational, systemic, and co-regulation aspects of our inclusive leadership method. A great introduction for people wanting new tools to move forward.

When someone believes strongly in a particular idea, the emotion attached to this belief works like glue to keep them attached to it. It is possible to counter the effects of misinformation by, metaphorically, applying a solvent to the glue.
In this 3-day, half-day workshop, we’ll teach you to work strategically with the emotions that make a belief “sticky,” using a process of healing and co-regulation to connect with people and build trust. Once this trust is established, you can work collaboratively with people to make them feel safe and redirect their focus. This allows them to increase access to the prefrontal cortex, tune into more processing skills, and more accurately assess material presented to them.

It’s hard for any organization to thrive if its members don’t trust it to honor their contributions and follow through on their promises. This can be even more challenging in chaotic times when things are shifting quickly. In this workshop, we’ll teach you to spot beliefs and behaviors that stem from past hardship and old patterns. Then we’ll teach you how to redirect others through a process of self-focus and co-regulation.
You’ll learn to bring people into the moment with more calm and ease, serving as a source of trust in your organization. From this position, you’ll encourage collaboration and innovation. People will want to work for you, give you their best, and stay through all the twists and turns.

If you are an advisor, mentor, or leader, you have probably come across people who are strongly impacted by emotions, beliefs, and prior hardships. It’s a common part of the human experience, but it can also be a real challenge to move forward in tense settings with activated people. It’s also a common tendency for us to believe that only highly trained psychologists can help people truly move forward.
This workshop offers you a different approach on advising and leadership. We teach you to see healing as an always ongoing process that you can encourage and enhance. We teach you not to be afraid of strong emotions, but to work with them calmly and strategically so that you can bring people back to a calm, centered space. From this position, people feel connected and respected. They start to trust that a relationship with you will bring them solutions that are different than the hardships of the past.
This workshop teaches you a method of intervention that works no matter what the context. We use case studies and examples that match your field of expertise, whether it be education, financial advising, healthcare, or others.

Our professional development workshops, led by Lesley Curtis, teach you a different way of engaging, which is best absorbed by gaining factual information, participating in activities, and having lots of time for questions and discussion.
Our introductory workshop is for people wanting to gain a basic understanding of our approach and adopt new tools. It is between 1.5 and 2 hours and is virtual with time for questions and discussion.
A typical in-person workshop is scheduled Wednesday-Friday from 10-12, with 12-1 being a lunch hour and discussion. Note: Sometimes we create a modified format for hybrid or blended teams.
Virtual extended workshops are 10-11:30 with individual reflection exercises between 11:30-12:15 and open Q and A from 12:15-1.
Our in-person events are usually for small groups of 5 to 15 people. Virtual formats include up to 20 employees.
