DEIB Leaders Group Support Program

A Spring Program to Help You Feel Energized, Balanced, and Hopeful

Sagely is offering a special group program for DEIB experts in a leading role. If you lead inclusion and equity efforts, we’re here to build community with you.

This group will help you:

  • apply therapeutic practices of resourcing, boundary setting, nervous system regulation, and narrative reframing so that you are more effective and less likely to experience overwhelm or burnout

  • benefit from a community space for reflection, collaboration, and mutual learning

  • achieve and maintain the position of compassionate witness so your work is more effective

  • discuss ways to apply the neuroscience of trauma healing to restorative justice practices

Meetings are biweekly, alternating between learning sessions and “coffee hours” for extra support and collaboration. All meetings are virtual, 90 minutes, confidential, and recorded for easy playback and review. You’ll also receive guides, reading recommendations, and meditation and visualization exercises via our member site log in. We’ve extended our sign up until January 19th!

Our groups are particularly powerful for leaders building a team; people who need more support at their own organizations; and those who want to know more about the larger culture of DEIB.

Dates

All meetings are 90 minutes from 12 pm ET to 1:30 pm ET.

Group Learning Sessions

January 23, February 20, March 19, April 16

    Lesley Curtis

    Facilitator

Lesley Curtis (she/her) is the co-owner and founder of Sagely. She holds a doctorate from Duke University, where she focused on storytelling and social justice movements. She is particularly interested in helping clients heal from the impact of intergenerational trauma by rewriting their stories of what’s possible in honor of past lessons learned.

Lesley has a unique perspective on DEIB work because she combines her humanities expertise with her study of psychology and meditation. She created the neuro-narrative approach to equitable culture change, relying on the close relationship between narrative and neuroscience to help clients make impact. She offers leaders and educators practical skills for being a calming presence for others.
